The Library
The largest section includes monographs of 20th century artists, with numerous catalogues produced by private galleries and national and international institutions.
A section of monographs of artists working from the 13th to the 18th century is accompanied by several thematic sections, dedicated, for example, to Still Life, Drawing, Engraving, Sculpture, Museums or Italian Regions. The large section of magazines, encyclopaedias and art collections is also complemented by a specific collection of rare volumes dedicated to African and Pre-Columbian art.
The Giovanni Testori Library is kept at Casa Testori, in Novate Milanese, and is open to the public. The volumes are available for consultation on-site and are not on loan. The cataloguing of the Library, entrusted to Dr. Alessia Gianforti, is nearing completion and is constantly being poured into the OPAC SBN Catalogue of the Lombardy Regional Pole and in the OPAC SBN.
